Raster & Vector Example

Vector data represent elements such as lines, circles and text. All vector elements can
easily be selected or moved.

Raster artwork is composed of small dots that cannot individually be selected or moved.
They look OK but do not print well unless they are at least 300 dpi (Dots per inch.)
They also tend to have jagged edges that print rough and fuzzy (72 dpi.)

There are different ways that you can apply your custom logo on a garment. They are as follows.

Option 1: Embroidery
Embroidery is the art of creating your custom logo or text in thread then stitching it on to the garment of your choice.

· Stage 1 (Select the product)
Take a look through our online or mail order catalogue.  Select the style, color, size, and quantity of the product(s) you would like to embroider. The color and fabric of your garment are important. Your logo is custom digitized for each type of fabric.

· Stage 2 (E-mail us your Custom Logo or have us create it)
You need to decide what logo you want to use for embroidery. Keep in mind the larger or more detailed the logo is the more it will cost. The details of the costs and how they are determined can be found in the following stages.

· Stage 3 (Digitization)
In order to embroider an image onto a garment, the image must be digitized into embroidery format. The digitizing of an image can be simple or very complicated depending on the size and detail of the image. When an image is digitized, our experts use a digitizing computer program that helps them accurately convert you image into a system of stitches that the embroidery machines can read. Our embroidery experts will ensure that your image looks excellent while maintaining a low stitch count to save you money. There are many factors that affect the cost of digitizing, but the end result is always a sharp and colorful image.

· Stage 4 (Embroidery)
The digitized image is sent to the embroidery machines. The machines use the digital instructions to create your masterpiece. A very common question is, of course, "How much will it cost to embroider my logo?" The number of stitches that the machine needs to make, the quantity of items being embroidered, and the location of the embroidery determines the total embroidery cost.

· Stage 5 (Delivery)
As soon as the embroidery has been completed and double checked for quality and accuracy, we package and send it direct to your door.
The entire process usually takes two to four weeks.

The cost for embroidery depends on the complexity of your logo and the number of pieces you would like to have embroidered.  The more complex the more expensive it is.

Option 2: Screen Printing
Screen printing is when we apply your logo to a shirt using special screens and ink.  This method is very popular for t-shirts.

What Is Screen Printing?
We take your logo and convert it into a format that is acceptable for the screen printing process.  Each logo you would like to place on a garment is separated into colors. Then "Burned" on to separate screens. One screen is then created for each color of each logo. The screens are used to precisely create your logo using special colored ink. There is a $15 screen charge per screen made. (per color)

Charges for screen printing include both a Setup fee and a per piece screen printing charge.  For more information on prices please email us.

For Screen Printing Orders:
When we work with screen printing orders there are a few things we would like our customers to be aware of:

 - Maximum of 6 colors can be used in screen printing.

 - Black and White are considered colors. On dark garments White may have to be used as an underlay, even if white is not in the logo you have, or have created.
 - Not all items we sell can be screen printed on. Email us if you need clarification on an item.
 - We can create custom logos for you, but we also can use one or more of our 45,000 stock images and add text to them too!

The Screen Printing Process:
Screen printing is great for displaying your logo on t-shirts, sweaters, and golf shirts.  The process is fairly simple.

  1. Your logo is first input into our computers in a special format that separates the colours.

  2. A screen is created for each color.  The screen contains millions of small perforations which allows the ink to pass through on to the garment without bleeding over the shirt.

  3. Each color is applied separately and the shirt is then left to cure and prepared for shipping.

The cost for screen printing depends on the complexity of your logo and the number of colours you would like to use.  The more colors the more expensive it is.
